Argentina

The Argentine Republic is located to the south of the American Continent. Because of the vast expanse of the country, it is the fourth largest in America and the seventh in the world in land area.
It borders Bolivia and Paraguay to the north; Chile and the Atlantic Ocean to the south; the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east; and the Republic of Chile to the west.
The country has a diversity of climates (warm, temperate, arid, and cold) and landscapes. There are three distinct regions from north to south. First, Chaco, dry to the west and with forests on the border with Paraguay and Brazil. Second, the humid Pampa, an expanse of fertile soil that concentrates most of the population. Finally, the Patagonia, south of the Río Negro, a staggered plateau stretching from the southern Andes to the Atlantic Ocean.
